About me
I am the proud mother of five adult children, aged between 30 and 36. I live in Epsom, Surrey with my family and love to cook healthy food, eat, exercise and read (for fun and to keep up to date with all things birth and parenting related). I have always had an insatiable interest in all things maternity and baby and before starting my family.
I am passionate about supporting families in this wonderful and rewarding, journey, of parenthood.”
A happy parent is a happy child
When you have just had a baby your life can feel like a rollercoaster of hormones and emotions and sometimes even those seemingly little decisions can feel overwhelming.
All you need is a support network, a listening ear, a non-judgemental sounding board, a kind, familiar face who will care for you and your whole family. And that is where I can help. I aim to be your support network - someone who will help you find the courage to make decisions with confidence, so that you can transition into your parenting journey feeling held, calm, supported, empowered and most of all happy.
A safe space for the whole family
Not only will I listen to you without judgement. I will be your safe space. I will nurture and support you and your whole family in any way that I can, to help you find your way of parenting in a calming and stress free environment.
Some ideas of how I can achieve this are:
Helping with laundry
Cooking/preparing nutritious food
Providing a calming presence
Providing phone and email support
Helping to debrief your birth experience
Helping with housework
Taking care of baby while you shower, take a nap or spend one on one time with other siblings
Or looking after siblings while you spend time bonding with your new baby
Helping to look after any pets
Helping you to find and access local resources
Making tea and providing hugs
Helping to support your chosen feeding method
Helping with chest feeding positions
